Hah, I found Macbeth's Diary !

Guess what? This is Macduff writing! Yes, that's it, I have defeated Macbeth - looks like his prophecies weren't enough to stop me. Finally Scotland is free of a corrupted King, and hopefully order will come back soon with a new, greater King. Hail to all!

Macduff

The Forest of Dunsinane is approaching!!!

What's happening!? I've just received news from a messenger that the great Forest of Dunsinane is coming to my castle. It's those hideous British along with Macduff and Duncan's sons! Not only this, my wife is dead, she killed herself, but that was approaching anyways. I now have this to worry about! One of the prophecies has come true, but I'm still invincible - who is there that is not born of a woman? Macduff stands no chance against me, the witches said that! I'll report soon, after my victory over them!

Macduff's family dead!

As Macduff was starting to get on my nerves, I figured the best way to bother him would be, of course, to kill his family. I sent assassins, and just got news that they succeeded, killing Macduff's wife and children in their castle. I wonder if he will have the guts to fight me back!

Something is going on....

Something is definitely going on... With Macduff and Duncan's sons all in England with King Edward, something will happen soon, I can feel it. They are planning against me, they are seeking England's help. Thankfully I'm fully safe in my castle until the prophecies come true, and I don't see that happening anytime soon; a forest moving, thats just not possible.

I met the witches again! Now with 3 apparitions

As greedy as I am to know my future, I made an appointment with the 3 witches again. They prepared a mixture in their cauldron, and then the apparitions appeared. They talked about my future, but unfortunately they were very brief and wouldn't take questions. The image I saw at the end, 8 kings in a row including the ghost of Banquo, with the last king holding a mirror - scarry. I'll describe the apparitions:

First one was an armed head. The witches proclaimed that he knows my thoughts! I didn't even need to ask a question, and the head said

"Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! beware Macduff;
Beware the thane of Fife. Dismiss me. Enough"

A bloody child was the second apparition. Unbelievable what he said; he proclaimed that I can't be killed by anyone born of a woman. I'll be undefeatable - Fleance, Malcolm, and Donaldbain will never take power

"Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn
The power of man, for none of woman born
Shall harm Macbeth."

The third apparition was most peculiar. A child with a crown, holding a tree in his hand! Odd...

"Be lion-mettled, proud; and take no care
Who chafes, who frets, or where conspirers are:
Macbeth shall never vanquish'd be until
Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane hill
Shall come against him."

This is just great! What kind of a chance have I got being defeated? Supposedly I've got to fear Macduff, but hell, he's born of woman! And the Forest of Dunsinane moving? Is this a joke? All hail me, the king forever I shall be!

I killed Banquo and his ghost came back!!!

Oh God, something is happening to me! I ordered the assasins to kill Banquo and his son Fleance. They just returned yesterday during my party and told me that Banquo was gotten rid off, but Fleance unfortunately escaped. I hope he won't defeat my reign!

During the party, something terribly scarry happened. Banquo's ghost appeared, and only I could see him! The lords were thinking I'm going crazy, but I'm sure I'm not! He was there! I could see him with my own eyes! Thank God my wife somehow got me out of the situation and canceled the party. I wonder what's happening to me... Is it guilt? I hope he won't ever come back, filthy Banquo!

Macbeth the new King!

Yes, yes, yes! Just today I have been crowned the new King of Scotland. The ceremony went all well. Everybody worthy was there except Banquo... I think he is suspecting something - he was with me there, and heard the prophecies. He might think that I acted on them. He also said he doesn't know if he will be able to come to my celebratory party tomorrow. I think I'll have to get rid of him, just for the safety. Him and his son Fleance, to make sure that none of Banquo's descendats become kings, like the prophecy says. I'll post an update tomorrow after my party - all the worthy Lords and Thanes are supposed to be there.

Panic... King Duncan's body found

It's morning now and everybody is panicking about the assassination of Duncan. My plan is going well - everybody seems to believe that the guards were the perpetrators, although I think Banquo, my partner, seems a little bit suspicious. Not only that, Duncan's sons have fled - they are nowhere to be seen. They probably got scared that the assassins might want to kill them too - looks like they didn't believe the guard story. This is really good for me though, as Malcolm, son of Duncan that was supposed to take over after him now fled. Guess what this means! I, as the Thane of Cawdor, am the next person to sit on the throne! The prophecy needed a little boost, but voila, it worked! I will be king really soon! My only worry is Banquo though, he seems too suspicious. I will deal with him later. I've got planning to do...

Good Lord! I killed the king!

It's all her fault, she forced me to do it, she said it's necessary! She was telling me all that stuff about me not being a true man and I just had to do it, it's not my fault.

So that's how it happened. My wife gave the guards guarding Duncan liquor, and got them totally drunk. Then she made me go in, and stab Duncan to death. I couldn't even say "amen" I was so scared. After the deed, I had to stage the scene to make it look like the guards got drunk and assassinated Duncan for an unknown reason. God, I'm terrible... No one can know about this. I'll report more in the morning, when everyone wakes up and finds out about this. I don't think I'll be able to get any sleep tonight though...

My wife.....

I recently spoke with my wife about the new promotion to Thane of Cawdor and about the 3 witches that gave me these prophecies, and you won't believe what she told me! To get to the position of king, she wants me to assassinate King Duncan, and faith wanted that he is actually coming over to my castle today! Is she out of her mind?! To assassinate the king is the greatest degree of treason possible, surely punishable by death... My Lady tells me that this is my one and only chance to make the prophecy come true - today when he is sleeping in my castle! She tells me that if I don't have the guts to do it then I'm not a real man! What an insult! Now I'm seriously debating the possibility of stabbing him - I would be the new king! Who knows if the prophecy will come true if I don't act on it? Farewell, I'll write tomorrow about how today's night with the king visiting went. I don't have much time, he should arrive any minute.

Thane of Cawdor a traitor - executed. I get the position !

I'v just got some news that the Thane of Cawdor has been executed for treachery... And guess what - this makes ME the new Thane of Cawdor. The prophecies are coming true, this is unbelievable! I saw the execution myself, and have been given the title by the king. I wonder if the prophecy of me becoming king will come true... I wish.... I'll write some more when I discuss this issue with my wife.

I met 3 witches in the forest!!!

This is unbelievable. When i was going back from the battlefield through the forest, I heard some noises and it turned foggy. 3 witches appeared in front of me and my friend Banquo. We were amazed, this is the first time we've seen anything like this! But the best of it was they said... They told us prophecies.

First, they got information about me. They said:

"All hail Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Glamis"
"All hail Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor"
"All hail Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter"

Do you get it?? They said that I will become the Thane of Cawdor, and then even the king. This is unbelivable.
They told Banquo a prophecy as well.

"Lesser than Macbeth, and greater"
"Not so happy, yet much happier"
"Thou shalt get kings, though thou be non. So all hail Macbeth and Banquo"

I think they are saying that Banquo's children will be kings... This is really interesting. I'll post later more about this topic after I talk with my wife.

So what do you think I should do about this all?!

Macdonwald a Rebel !!!

I just came back from a fight, and the opposition's main leader was, guess who... Macdonwald! The battle was fierce, but I'm handy with a sword :) I destroyed the opposing forces, and killed Macdonwald by cutting his head off. Not only there were the Scottish rebels, but I encountered the Norwegians as well. Fierce people they are, but no match for me. Scotland is safe again :)

Macbeth

Hey all, I'm Macbeth

Hello, my name is Macbeth. I live in Scotland and am quite young. I have a relatively high position - Thane of Glamis, live in a small castle, and have a loving wife, Lady Macbeth, and am a high ranking commander in the Scottish army. I have good acquaintances with King Duncan, the King of Scotland. He is soon dispatching me to fight Scottish rebels, along with Norwegians who, I don't know why, want to attack as also...
